Microsoft Advertising is only in the US, if you monetized your app with in App advertising, the advertising will only work in the US. How unfortunate, I assumed it was working in all markets where the latest Windows Phone was released.
Mobile Advertising is coming soon to other countries.
I've seen comments of people thinking about going to other Ad platforms, and threatening once there it will be hard to go back to Microsoft's offering.
